SCHEDULED FLIGHTS
Our
offer is based on using SCHEDULED carriers on economy
class operating from London Heathrow as we do not
recommend using charter flights on long haul holidays
for anyone over 5' in height. Charter flights are
very inconvenient in terms of service, seat pitch
and legroom. Scheduled flights also operate out of
Birmingham, Manchester, or Gatwick and other regional
airports depending on the chosen airline.
Please note that due to our bulk buying power we
have negotiated competitive prices on scheduled flights.
Our preferred carrier is Sri Lankan Airline, who operate
mainly non-stop flights to Colombo.
Sri Lankan Airlines, Emirates Airline or Qatar Airways
are the main scheduled carriers used by Sunbreak Holidays.
Emirates fly via Dubai and Qatar Airways fly via Doha,
with a stop over in Dubai and Doha respectively.
All
international flights arrive at Bandaranaike International
Airport, which is located some 20 km from Colombo,
the capital of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is 6 hours ahead of U.K time and flying
time from the U.K. is normally 11 hours plus any stop
over.
You will be met at Bandaranaike International Airport
by our representative and assisted with your onward
journey to your chosen resort.
TRANSFERS
Mode of transfers is usually private air-conditioned
cars / limousine or air-conditioned coaches. All transfers
are co-ordinated at the time of booking.
